Back on the road again !! (Updated)

For obvious reasons we have not had a Warwickshire Road Race League this year. The good news is that some races that make up the latter part of the programme are ON.
List of races follows:-

(1) The Stratford Summer 6 is on Saturday 28th August

(2) The Kenilworth Half Marathon is on Sunday 12th September – this race include the Midland Counties Championship

(3) If 13.1 miles is too far, the Nuneaton 10k is on Sunday 12th September too.

(4) The Balsall Common 5k/10k is on 19th September

(5) The Rugby 10 mile race is on 3rd October

The County Under 11 track and field championships will be held at Edmondscote Stadium, Leamington, on the afternoon of Wednesday 25th August starting at 1.00. This is for athletes who were in school years 4 and 5 last school term. The event will use the Quadkids format of 600m, 75m, Long Jump and Howler Throw.
Entries will be through Entry4Sports.co.uk. There are more details on the “Competition – County Champs” pages of this web site.
We are also holding an Open Graded Meeting on Thursday 26th August, again at Leamington. The events will be 100m, 300m, 400m, 1500m, High Jump and Shot Put. As an experiment we are holding the event in the AFTERNOON starting at 1.00 to see if mid week daytime meetings prove popular or impossible.
